Alessandro Sbordoni designed the Palladio bathroom series in the forties. The inspiration is clearly from the beginning of the century. Palladio with its sinuous and soft shapes projects us in the Art Nouveau, that artistic movement that in Italy takes the name of Liberty. The elegance of Palladio resides in the harmony of its enveloping lines and its perfect proportions. The ceramic acquires softness and bends in the sinuosity of forms.
